WHAT IS ECRU?
Ecru is a method of printing where colours are floated on a liquid surface and manipulated by the movement of air to form organic shapes and patterns remeniscent of rock and star formations.
​
Ecru is the art of letting go and allowing nature and the medium to create shapes. It is said in Japan that the true master of this art has very limited control and practices seeing more than doing.
